Tutoring Experience:

Sarah is currently working as a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, evidencing valuable experience of working with children in a classroom environment. She has a particular interest in music education and outreach, for example as a mentor at Junior Birmingham Conservatoire, where she thrived mentoring talented students (whose ages ranged from children to young adults) to a high standard in orchestra, wind band and flute group rehearsals.

Other experience includes assisting with the running of “Music Maze,” a series of creative musical workshops for beginners run by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (an established, prestigious chamber group in Birmingham). Tutoring Approach:

Sarah is a positive, outgoing and enthusiastic teacher. The most important aspects of Sarah’s teaching are rehearsal etiquette, technique and discipline.
