Personal Description:
I was born in Barcelona and moved to England in 2010 to start my studies, although I haven't lived here continuously since then. I am a passionate violinist and educator with extensive experience in performance, teaching, and student mentorship. A graduate of the Purcell School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, I have performed across Europe with members of the London Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and Bruckner Orchestra, among many other ensembles. At the age of 16, I played with my string quartet at Wigmore Hall, and as a soloist, I have performed in Linz with the Bruckner University Chamber Orchestra. Since completing my studies, I have developed a passion for fostering music education, taking on teaching and mentoring roles at institutions like Artcadia Music School, The Purcell Music School, and most recently Windsor Academy and Camden Music Service.
Tutoring Experience:
My teaching experience spans individual and group lessons, orchestral coaching, and mentoring. As a violin tutor at Artcadia Music School in Barcelona, I integrated Suzuki, Kodály, and Dalcroze methods to support students of all levels. I have also led sectional rehearsals for a leading youth orchestra in Spain. At The Purcell School for Young Musicians, I coached chamber music, guided students through ABRSM exams, and supported neurodiverse students. I’ve attended international Suzuki Method conventions, learning innovative techniques. Currently, I teach individual violin lessons at Windsor Academy and Surrey Sound of Music, where I continue to inspire students and foster a love for music across various skill levels.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching philosophy focuses on building a strong technical foundation while fostering a love for music. I take a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to each individual’s needs and goals, and providing continuous encouragement to help them reach their full potential. I emphasize the integration of technique, creativity, and emotional expression. I believe in creating a positive, engaging environment where students develop not only their skills but also self-discipline, resilience, and joy in music-making. Whether through collaboration, improvisation, or exploring various musical styles, I aim to inspire students to grow into confident, independent musicians.
