Personal Description:
I Recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with 1st Class Honours where I studied Jazz Saxophone and woodwind with Second study piano. I have also received lessons from Trinity College of Music (London). I studied with teachers such as Julian Siegel, Iain Ballamy, Stan Sulzman and Gareth Lockrane. As well as teaching I am a full time Musician playing around England with numerous Jazz, Pop and function bands. Music has always be a great enjoyment for me and I enjoy passing on this excitement for music to others through teaching.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught music for 15 years within London, Cambridge and Brighton. I teach peripatetically an a few schools in Cambridge as well as having a large group of weekly private pupils that I teach. I have done many concerts in England and abroad using Sax, Flute and Piano. I have also taught pupils of many different ages for the last few years across England, Europe and Africa.
Tutoring Approach:
When teaching, I like to create a friendly yet productive atmosphere where the pupils can learn at their own rate but also be challenged in a suitable way. I encourage musicality and creativity in lessons, whatever genre, to build a love for playing.
