Personal Description:
I'm a professional composer and music producer with over 10 years of experience in the industry. I compose for the renowned trailer music company Really Slow Motion and actively write for video games, with my work featured in over 150 countries across film, TV, and interactive media.
I compose primarily in Cubase Pro, but also have experience with Logic Pro, Sibelius, and Musescore, which allows me to support students working across a range of platforms and workflows.
Due to my ongoing work in professional composition, I take on a limited number of students and currently have space for a small number of committed learners. Whether you're a beginner with a passion for music or an aspiring professional, I offer practical, real-world guidance in composition and production tailored to your goals.
In addition to composition and production, I also teach music theory up to an advanced level, including exam preparation. Lessons take place in my fully equipped home studio, offering students hands-on experience with professional tools. For music theory, I also offer online sessions via video call for added flexibility.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching music for over 15 years and currently lead theory classes at the International Music School in Cardiff. My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s pace and goals — whether you're working toward exams, preparing a portfolio, or simply exploring music creatively.
Tutoring Approach:
I approach music tuition with the same level of professionalism and commitment that I bring to my own career. I believe in nurturing creativity while building strong technical foundations, and I’m open to all styles of composition — from classical to experimental, electronic, and beyond.
Each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s individual goals, interests, and level of experience. Whether you're aiming to write for media, improve your theory, or simply explore composition as a creative outlet, I design a clear, focused path to help you grow effectively and confidently.
