Information About Yuri - Barnet teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Yuri:
Yuri is an Italian tenor, from Rome. Moved in London in 2002, Yuri appears frequently on the recital platform, in private events and functions.
He is an extremely talented voice pedagogue who has taught beginners, intermediate and advanced pupils for many consecutive years. He is member of Aotos, the association of teacher of singers, and has an extensive knowledge of the invisible mechanics of the voice.
Yuri has enjoyed sharing his knowledge to help others discover their voice since the beginning of his journey, but from 2006 realised it was his passion and since then he is devoted to responsibly teaching the art of singing in a systematic and all-inclusive manner, as developed from the old Italians school of the Belcanto and convalidated by the most recent research and studies of eminent professors in related fields such acoustics, physiology and phonetics.
Yuri has a friendly approach and builds a relaxed atmosphere in which the student can learn and have fun, yet lots is packed in, technically and artistically. Using an exact and easy to understand language, he can make you understand things about yout voice in a matter of minutes, making confusion and bad habits disappear quickly, replaced by a proper, efficient and healthy way of singing which is ultimately the only way you are supposed to use your voice!
