Personal Description:
Performing music and teaching are two callings in my life. I am enthusiastic and highly organised teacher (DBS checked) specialising in guitar, ukulele, bass and vocals with over 16 years of experience. I have Bachelor degree of Jazz Guitar as well as Teacher Qualification. My strength is my ability to build positive relationships with students from different backgrounds and contexts, deliver well structured lessons, make complicated things seem simple and spark love for music in students. I am a versatile teacher - I teach jazz, rock, pop and classical guitar. I am also a multi-instrumentalist so I can teach bass,ukulele and singing as well.
My original compositions has been aired multiple times on BBC Radio and Jazz Fm, I've been scouted by The Voice UK, supported by Women In Jazz Media and D'Angelico Guitars.
Tutoring Experience:
For more than 16 years I've been teaching in secondary/primary schools and privately - delivering individual and group lessons, leading music ensemble for various instruments, music writing workshops, leading Rock Band, Hip- Hop orchestra, helping to prepare for GCSE music exams, guitar grade exams (Trinity College, ABRSM, Rock School), music showcases.
