Hi! Im Russell and i'm a drum teacher based in East London. Ive been playing drums for around 11 years and have a great deal of experience playing a wide variety of music, live and in the studio. Tutoring Experience:
I teach privately from my own purpose built studio in Hackney Wick. I have been teaching professionally for over 7 years and have a extensive experience teaching all ages and abilities.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to split my lessons into two key areas: technique and musicality. I teach my students good technique, four way co-ordination, rudiments etc whilst applying a musical approach. I am very much focused on feel, 'groove' and playing musically. Drumming is also incredibly fun… so I always focus on my students favourite music, teaching them how to play their favourite tunes!!
