Personal Description:

I am a passionate teacher, performer and accompanist privately teaching since 2014, focusing on piano performance, music theory and composition. My students have varied from 4 year olds to mature adults, at a wide range of levels - with all being successful in achieving their personal goals and ambitions. My teaching style draws upon both my own musical upbringing and my teacher training and experience which has varied from traditional grade examinations (ABRSM & Trinity), Suzuki Method and Kodaly training to musical theatre.

Currently also offering online lessons due to Covid.

I hold a first class bachelors degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music under Professor Yekaterina Lebedeva. During my studies I have had the privilege of working with acclaimed teachers and pianists such as Nikolai Demidenko, Artur Pizarro, Pascal Rogé and Martino Tirimo. I've performed at distinguished venues across the UK and Europe including Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square, Pushkin House, Cambridge University, Sala Michelangeli (Italy), Auditoria Joaquin Rodrigo (Madrid) and Nafplio (Greece).

Tutoring Experience:

I have prepared students both privately and at schools for piano and theory examinations - all of my students achieving Merit or Distinction. I offer lessons online and at my home and at an established piano studio where I teach one-one, group musicianship and theory classes.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that in creating a nurturing learning environment and focusing on a combination of technique, reading, creativity, theory and aural skills you will not only learn to play piano but also be inspired to become a great musician.

My approach offers a mixture of methods that cater to the needs of each individual student.

I believe first and foremost in teaching her students to become well-rounded musicians and individuals.
