Information About Rosanna - Forest Row teacher

Personal Description:

I am professional harpist and experienced teacher of harp, violin and music theory. As a concert harpist I work with top international orchestras and teach students of all levels. I hold a Master from the Royal College of Music in London where I graduated with distinction in 2018, and have since been performing worldwide including at the Proms, Carnegie Hall and multiple TV and radio 3 appearances.

I achieved diploma level on the violin during my studies and equally enjoy teaching this beautiful instrument.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 15+ years of teaching experience at all levels, ages and abilities, including private teaching, tutoring on music courses, international masterclasses, and as the harp teacher at Benenden School in Kent. My students regularly achieve good grades in their music exams and enjoy playing their instrument.

Tutoring Approach:

Every pupil is unique and therefore requires an individual approach. In my opinion, the most important aspect of playing an instrument is enjoyment. This is achieved through developing a good technical foundation and exploring a wide range of repertoire. My students are welcome to follow the ABRSM or equivalent grade system should they choose.
