Personal Description:
Ron studied jazz bass in Dublin Ireland before moving abroad, living in France and Spain before settling in Britain. He has lived in the South West for over a decade now working with some of the areas finest musicians and touring companies. He currently lives in South Somerset.
Tutoring Experience:
Over a decades experience as a private music tutor to adults and children.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to make music an enjoyable rewarding experience and try to encourage pupils of all levels to begin playing with other musicians as soon as possible. I try to base my teaching in practical theory, so that students know why they are playing something and can have a richer understanding of music.

RonFrom Mareike (5/5): I had a one-off lesson with Ron. I found it really helpful and it did inspire me to start practising to follow up the things we'd covered in the lesson and gave me some new confidence. He's patient and explained things well so I could understand what was behnd the exercises. I'm run off my feet with a house move at the moment but I'm definitely expecting to ask him for more lessons once things have calmed down.
