Information About Richard - Dunfermline teacher

Personal Description:

Richard started his career in music at a very young age, playing alongside his family in Country/ Bluegrass band Willow Creek.

With a clear passion for music, Richard decided to further study music at college. During this period, Richard toured with leading P!nk tribute band, 'Im Not Pink'. Playing festivals overseas and 02 Academies across the country, Richard gained a large amount of experience as a performer in his younger years, depping for a number of artists as well as original projects.

In 2013, Richard joined the Band of Her Majestey's Royal Marines and has undergone an extensive amount of musical development with many career highlights. Richard has performed at prestigious venues across the country including the Edinburgh Tattoo, Royal Albert Hall, Sage Gateshead and 02 Arena Newcastle.

As a performer Richard has performed in many countries including the UK, Belgium, Abu Dhabi, Sweden, Romania, New Zealand and Ireland.

Richard has shared the stage with many notable artists including support for Little Mix, Scouting for Girls, Bad Manners & Sophie Ellis-Bexter and playing percussion for Alfie Boe in Belgium as part of a commemoration.

Currently, Richard plays for Dunfermline based Indie Band **Removed By Admin** who recently won the International Hard Rock Cafe Battle of the band 2019 in LA.

Richard is a fully qualified teacher with a degree in Music (BMusHons), Grade 8 Trinity Drum Kit Qualification, and a very high level of experience.

With a recent move to Dunfermline, Richard is now offering this unique opportunity to study drums and percussion at his home studio in Fife.
