Personal Description:
I have freelanced with the Scottish Ballet, played for numerous musical theatre productions, performed solo recitals and toured Britain-wide as a member of Champagne Flutes.
My working life is split between my two passions music and horses. During the day I work as a groom and in the evenings I teach/play the flute.
Tutoring Experience:
I began teaching privately when I was a student, at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, in 2008. I have experience of teaching players of all levels and have enjoyed supporting them through performances, competitions, county band/orchestra auditions, SQA exams and ABRSM performance and practical exams.
Tutoring Approach:
Lessons are tailored to suit the students goals, whether that is progressing through graded exams, improving pieces for auditions and performances or just playing for fun.
