Rachael offers a FREE first / introductory lesson!
I am a warm, engaging, enthusiastic and experienced teacher with a broad musical background, recently moved to Bath.
For the last twenty-five years I have been teaching the piano to students aged from 5 to 60 and beyond! Having taught for the Cornwall Music Service and at a private school (where I was also responsible for teaching the cathedral choristers theory) I now teach privately at home. I can give short courses in aural for students of other instruments who may require extra tuition for exams.
Learning an instrument should be a joyful and positive experience for both the student and the teacher. A rapport between myself and you/your child is vital so I always offer a free consultation which allows you to meet me and see what you think. Once lessons begin both teacher and pupil must work together in order for the experience to be a positive one. To this end I believe that inspiring teaching must be answered with practice from the pupil. I also know that no two pupils are alike and believe in tailoring my teaching to the individual needs of each student.
