Information About Quintin - Lambeth teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Quintin:
I am a recent graduate of St John's College Cambridge, and previously Eton College. I am a conductor, singer and teacher, working in and around London. I started singing aged 6 in the Choir of St John's College Cambridge, where I returned as a choral scholar as an undergraduate. As a conductor, I have worked with a number of choirs and orchestras and have had experience conducting opera and musical theatre.
I have worked as a classroom music teacher since 2015. I have taught all ages, from Year 4 up to Year 13, in classes and individually. I have taught GCSE, A Level, International Baccalaureate and the Cambridge Pre-U. At the higher end, all my sessions have been one-on-one and I have experience working with GCSE students at an individual level too. In addition, I teach music theory and singing on a regular basis as well as conducting choirs.
I find that students accomplish their best when they have direction, momentum and a clear goal in sight. In order to achieve this, I am consistently encouraging but not afraid to mention when more work needs to be done and in which specific areas.
