Personal Description:

I am a professional musician looking to take on some piano students to share my love of music!

I was a Daily **Contact Detail Removed**graph Young Jazz Musician finalist, taught by David Pickthall MBE and tutored by jazz legend Digby Fairweather.

I have performed at top London venues including St John's Smith Square, Oxo Tower and Jazz After Dark and throughout the UK including Wedgwood Rooms in Portsmouth, Gawsworth Hall and Buxton Opera House. Residencies at Browns in Bristol, Charlotte Street Blues Bar, Le Quecumbar, and La Samaritaine & Hotel Mercure in Marseilles. Supported Joan Armatrading MBE on tour. Also performed throughout Europe and in South America.

Performed live on BBC radio. Compositions have appeared on MTV, Propeller TV and BBC Radio Two.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught a range of levels from summer camps where I was employed as a specialist music counsellor as part of the Camp America program working alongside students from the Juilliard School through to providing one-to-one tutoring for classical pianists wanting to learn more 'loose' styles of piano to play jazz, blues, boogie-woogie, soul etc.

Tutoring Approach:

I can show you the essential technical skills you need in order to play the piano with confidence. I will inspire you to practice in an efficient way which is how you will get those skills under your belt.

Warm engaging style. We can take it at your own pace and keep it fun because when you enjoy playing the piano you can make rapid progress.

In the first lesson we can spend a few minutes discussing what you want to play and any goals you may have and then just dive right in!
