Information About Peter - Crowthorne teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Peter:
I have been teaching guitar and bass guitar full time for 20 years following a successful career in the music business that started as a teenager. For many years I was a regular instrumental and vocal performer at recording sessions, and on film, TV and radio. I have played at the Savoy, Dorchester, Inn on the Park and on the QE2. As a member of a leading society band I appeared at Kensington Palace, Woburn Abbey, Claridges and St. James Club for a Royal Wedding celebration.
I spent three years studying classical guitar at the Spanish Guitar Centre in London and also trained in jazz guitar for three years with Les Hague at the renowned Eric Guilder School of Music, which led to my being employed as a principal instructor. My father, Max Saunders, was a well known composer.
I teach all styles from classical to rock, jazz and country.
Over the years I have given guitar and bass guitar lessons to hundreds of students of all different abilities, from those who’ve never picked up a guitar before, to seasoned players looking to improve. I'm also a leading expert in guitar repairs and set-ups.
Guitar lessons are one-to-one and take place in my home studio in Crowthorne, Berkshire. Lessons are tailored to the needs of individual pupils and last an hour. Most pupils come weekly. I teach all ages - my youngest pupil is 9 and my oldest 75. Parents are welcome to sit in on any lessons should they wish. I teach all styles of music, led by what my students prefer. I have teaching slots during days, evenings and weekends. Please contact me for details of current availability.
