Tutoring Experience:

I have a great passion for sharing my technical knowledge and stage experience with keen singers of all levels, and I have been teaching for 10 years in Denmark and London, currently main teacher with South Denmark Girls Choir.

My interest in singing began when I was 30 and working as a chef, I followed my gut instinct in pursuing this passion and, although already late, I managed to progress quickly and have had a very exciting and interesting career so far. It is very exciting to discover a new voice which has real potential and I believe everyone should have the possibility of finding their singing voice.

Tutoring Approach:

Currently live and online lessons available. I have studied with world famous singing teachers throughout my career, and in my years of teaching I have developed strong didactic skills with a focus on analyzing the singer´s natural talent, existing skills, life experience and background, to form an individually tailored programme to develop their instrument to the highest possible level. Insisting on building a low breathing support system from the beginning to enable the air to pass through the vocal chords before the sound is initiated. Also keeping an inner smile and a loose relaxed jaw to avoid tension building in the throat and larynx. Having been trained first in Italian bel canto style, I later learned the Scandinavian technique which makes my lessons suitable for different styles of music including musical theatre singing.
