Personal Description:
Hi! I am a very friendly flute and recorder teacher who is passionate about music and teaching. I put a lot of effort and energy into my lessons, and my students always pass their exams with high marks and have got scholarships in some of the best schools in the country!
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught pupils of all ages and backgrounds in the past 13 years, both as a self employed teacher and as peripatetic teacher at the International School of the Gothenburg Region (Sweden), the Conservatoire of Jyväskylä (Finland), the Conservatoire of Cosenza, and the Conservatoire of Pescara (Italy). I am currently teacher of Flute for the Stamford Endowed Schools, St Francis School and Newnham Croft Primary, but I also teach from my home in Romsey, where I live with my partner Ellie.
I am fully DBS Checked and I undergo regular Safeguarding training as part of my jobs.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching is focused on fostering self confidence in my students through positive reinforcement and enthusiasm for music making. The objective is to improve your playing while having fun and cultivating this great life long skill that music is! Preparation for grade exams and training for conservatoire auditions are also available.
