Personal Description:
I am a member of the violin section in the Philharmonia Orchestra and have played there for 20 years.
We have toured the world performing. I particularly like recording music for block buster films and video games.
All my family are musicians and we enjoy running concerts locally for the community and for our students.
I enjoy teaching all ages and welcome adults. I also enjoy preparing people for auditions and have myself sat on many audition panels.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught violin and viola at Queenswood School for 17 years and taught privately in Brookmans Park for 20 years.
I have coached on chamber music and Orchestral music courses.
I am also involved with education work in the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Tutoring Approach:
I have previously taught colour strings method and more recently am teaching using the Suzuki method to the younger ones. I take the best of different teaching methods and tailor it to the individual whether children or adults.
Both my son and daughter learned cello and violin Suzuki methods respectively.
