Personal Description:

My name is Paul I am a qualified (and very friendly) music teacher. I studied music at Christ Church College, from where I obtained my music degree.

I am very proficient with virtual teaching using Zoom, and was even doing it before the first lockdown. I have two cameras and I use another computer as a whiteboard where I can show musical examples and also a virtual keyboard, so my students can really have a clear idea of what I'm demonstrating.

I am a recording composer, which I receive an income from. And many of my students benefit from my composition guidance and advice.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 20 years of experience in teaching piano, 10 years in the field gigging experience, and 8 years professionally recording music.

Tutoring Approach:

Whether you’re a beginner or a restarter I should be able to help you to achieve your goals. I have helped so many so far.

My approach to teaching is very simple and calm, with an enormous amount of patience.

I have taught literally hundreds of students from teenagers up to pensioners. Including many styles in music, including classical, rock, singer-songwriter and popular music. I have an up to date DBS enhanced certificate (dated the16th September 2020)
