Personal Description:

Paul has been playing guitar for over 20 years in all areas of a Guitarists day job, from Recording (session), Live performance (in signed bands and as a session player for national and international artists) and has had great success teaching in seminars and individual face to face lessons and course production and delivery. Paul is currently a privileged student of Steve Vai and Berklee College of Music in Boston USA, arguably the greatest guitar virtuoso and School on the planet.
Paul has after learning some of the best kept secrets in Guitar mastery from the greatest players in the world decided to decant and offer this knowledge in one to one lessons and seminar based guidance to classes of up to 10 students.
Paul is currently also in the Studio working on his debut Instrumental EP for Steve Vai's label Favoured nations due for release towards the end of the year.

Tutoring Experience:

Paul has taught in many different environments from class based education to Music store seminars and tone/ song studies/workshops. Paul has a long history of teaching one to one and at various school's and colleges including The Engine rooms in Skelmersdale and for Lancashire County Council Music Services.
Paul is a Guitar tutor and Guitarist/performer only, and has developed his own practise to benefit the learning experience for Guitarists. This has been the ethos since day one, no secrets, every one learns everything at their own pace and most of all, we have fun always.

He has worked hard over the years to develop lesson plans and courses that have proven to advance players quickly to achieve maximum gain in as short a time as possible. Paul Guitar Techniques uses trade secret approaches used by the elite of the elite to allow students to feel like every lesson has made a massive difference to there playing and opened doors to new possibilities and levels of understanding.
In Pauls classes and classes for Paul Guitar Techniques you will receive all media (video, tabs, professionally produced mp3 backing tracks, in a lot of cases the actual studio mastered versions less the Guitar part are available!) at no extra cost.
