Personal Description:
I am Pato. I have over 30 years of experience as a studio and touring guitarist. My recording credits include award-winning albums, TV, and Film soundtracks, and countless multimedia projects.
I have toured internationally, having played hundreds of gigs from small club dates and mid-sized venues, to international music festivals.
My practical, real-world experience has taught me invaluable lessons about what a professional musician needs to know about live performance, recording, and equipment, as well as how to prepare for the rigours of the road.

I have taught guitar privately for more than 15 years.
Tutoring Approach:
I strongly believe in following an intuitive approach, focusing on my student's needs, and building a syllabus accordingly.
I aim to build a solid theoretical and technical foundation, help the students achieve tangible milestones that will keep them engaged, and help them experience the rewards of being able to actually play the instrument sooner rather than later.
However, for students who require a more structured approach, I build my lessons around the Berklee College of Music syllabus.
