Personal Description:
I am a graduate of Trinity College of Music. I have a large amount of teaching experience and am dedicated to helping my students reach their goals and full potential. I currently work as a performing double/electric bass/ guitar player in many fields of music. I teach from my home studio in Sydenham (Monday.)
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught privately for over 10 years and have also been part of the teaching faculty on a number of music summer schools. I have taught students of all ages (from 6 - 50) and have experience tutoring children for grade exams (ABRSM). I also teach music theory and have prepared children for the grade 5 theory exam. I currently teach in a School in Stratford where I provide group and one to one guitar and bass lessons.
Tutoring Approach:
As every student has different needs, I like to take the approach of assessing what the student wants to achieve and what they are interested in learning. I have a large number of teaching resources to draw upon, but fundamentally the shape of the lessons and the content is all personalised to the student.
