Personal Description:

I have over ten years of professional experience within Musical Theatre ranging from performing at The Royal Opera House to taking lead roles in the West End and national and international tours. Shows include; Mamma Mia!, Hair, Evita, Aladdin and High School Musical, I also filmed scenes for the new film Mamma Mia! 2. I have been teaching and performing professionally in London for over 10 years and have students in shows such as Beautiful, Matilda and Dreamgirls.  

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked closely with Drama Schools and casting agencies helping performers improve audition technique and solo singing. Alongside my own vocal training of over 15 years, I have a BAST qualification in teaching singing, which has a deep route in the physics of the voice, as well as an acquired experience across the industry, not only in Musical Theatre but also in pop/rock and many other styles. I have worked with musical directors of the BBC's The Voice and with Universal Records in producing numerous tracks.
I teach children in schools, group harmony work, Musical Theatre encompassing singing, acting and movement and I also work with the elderly using singing as a tool to combat dementia and loneliness. I can help give you a platform to perform and record your own songs. I love what I do!

Tutoring Approach:

I believe everyone can learn to sing and more importantly everyone has the right to enjoy it! My lessons are informal yet informative, you will hear and feel the progress while understanding how that is achieved. I try to work towards a goal, whether that is feeling more confident, an upcoming performance or improving technique as I feel this gives a great intention and enjoyment to the lessons. I am very passionate about what I do and my enthusiasm has previously been described as 'infectious'.
