Personal Description:

I specialize in Classical music and play the piano, flute and oboe. I am an experienced choral singer. In addition to my listed qualifications I have an LMusTCL diploma (Musical Theory, Criticism and Literature) from Trinity College of Music, and the following Associated Board qualifications:
Grade 8 piano (Distinction)
Grade 8 flute (Distinction)
Grade 7 oboe (Merit)
Grade 8 singing (Pass)
Grade 8 Theory (Distinction)

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching since graduating from University in 1983, both privately and in schools and colleges.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach piano, flute, theory and aural from beginner to advanced level. Most of my students are prepared for Associated Board examinations but I do take pupils who prefer not to study for examinations. I provide piano accompaniment for woodwind students and also provide coaching for singers.
