Personal Description:
Hi! I'm Nick a folk and trad musician from Norwich, UK. I've been playing the fiddle and melodeon for the last 22 years. I specialised in music from Great Britain, Ireland, France and Brittany. I also have a love for composing and currently perform in various bands in UK and abroad including ‘Iontach’ and ‘Woodwose’. I have a first class honours degree in Folk and Traditional Music from Newcastle University.
Tutoring Experience:
Since graduating from university in 2010, I've travelled across the UK and Europe giving workshops on both melodeon, fiddle and ensemble.
Tutoring Approach:
Creating a relaxed, friendly environment is important when learning an instrument. I strive to achieve this in every lesson as it is one of the main ingredients in successfully learning any instrument. My lessons are also tailored to the student based on their needs and interests. So, whether you’d just like to play for fun, learn tunes for the session or are interested in more in-depth arranging and chords, I can cater to everyone!
