Information About Nicholas - Huddersfield teacher - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Nicholas:
Professional music tutor based in Edgerton, Huddersfield.
Many years' experience teaching pupils of all ages and levels of ability.
I have taught many pupils from childhood through teenage until they left for university. Many former pupils later ask me to teach their own children.
I also have considerable experience with adult learners of any age, whether they resume after a break or are complete beginners, some of them taking up an instrument for the first time when they reach retirement.
My approach to teaching is friendly and informal. Beginners acquire solid technical skills and get acquainted with a variety of styles and periods of music. As they progress, they can steer their own course and fully enjoy music making.
I offer specialist instrumental tuition in piano, guitar, mandolin, as well as lute and harpsichord.
I teach the theory required at every stage of development.
I provide all the support required to take exams, typically Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM),Trinity College and Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT) grades, as well as GCSE and A' Level.
I help singers and players of any instruments with specific aspects of music theory or interpretation.
I share my experience with other teachers seeking to bridge gaps in some specialist aspect of music.
