Information About Nicholas - Chichester teacher

Personal Description:

I am a freelance composer, songwriter and musician and I recently started playing live again after moving back to the UK from Switzerland.

I am passionate about music, I learnt the piano aged 5 and self-taught myself the guitar aged 16.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 15 years of music tuition experience - both within a school environment and privately, which I did alongside my role as head of Music Technology at an international school in Switzerland.

Now in the UK, I offer private tuition to beginners (piano) and anyone wanting to learn how to play the guitar (learning songs and possibly singing)!

Tutoring Approach:

I have a warm and friendly personality and I enjoy seeing students' confidence levels grow, as they start to master an instrument.

I encourage students and teach in a relaxed, but professional atmosphere. I also have good social skills and I am patient.

As a composer and song-writer myself, I encourage student's to improvise and write their own music. I can also guide students on music technology, to help them record their own material.
