Notes: Having studied at Trinity College of Music, I now work as a freelance session musician. I have been fortunate enough to have toured/recorded and performed with artists such as Dizzee Rascal, Jessie J, Tom Jones, Roberto Pla, Uniting Nations, The Big 3 Palladium Orchestra (from New York), X Factor Finalists Charity Single and various world music artists at festivals around the world. TV appearances include Later with Jools Holland, the BBC4 Latin Music USA season, Brecon Jazz Festival on BBC4, MTV live sessions and broadcasts from the Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and Oxegen (correct spelling) festivals. Numerous TV adverts, radio broadcasts and TV theme tunes. Venues including the o2 Arena, MEN Arena, Glastonbury, WOMAD, Leeds, Reading, Oxegen, Lovebox, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican, Ronnie Scotts and the Jazz Cafe.

Tutoring Experience:

10 years teaching as both a peripatetic instrumental teacher and as a classroom music teacher, teaching music and music technology form reception classes through to A level.

Tutoring Approach:

Music is about having fun and taking the skills you learn into the wider world. Lessons are focused, with realistic goals being set, structured according to the needs of the pupil. It is worth bearing in mind that there are no shortcuts to achieving the results you are looking for. Over the years I have developed many techniques to cope with even the most stubborn of problems in a fun and productive manner. Through hard work and perseverance many small miracles can be achieved.
