Personal Description:

Hi , my name is Neil . I have been teaching guitar for over 10 years in Schools and also private tuition travelling to students homes.
I play in bands and also play classical guitar at weddings and functions. I have released two cds of classical guitar one of which has had some success entering the ITunes chart.

Tutoring Experience:

I am teaching guitar at the High School Of Glasgow and have been their for 9 years . I have taught in Jordanhill School and Yamaha School Of Music . I have been teaching privately for over 10 years and offer electric and classical guitar grades . I have taught up to grade 8 on both electric and classical with Rock School , Trinity Rock and Pop and also Trinity Classical guitar.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a laid back approach to teaching although when i have to push a student i do ! Most students who want to play guitar do practice and i make the lesson fun . Once the student has covered the basics i will teach a song of their choice which brings them on much faster , makes the lesson worth having and progress starts from their. I cover all techniques from finger picking to tapping .
