Information About Miles - Greenwich teacher

Personal Description:

I am a 23 year old post-graduate currently working in London. I have a keen interest in the guitar, constantly writing and performing music. Rock, blues and alternative music are the main genres I am into, however I do often dabble in other styles too.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 14 years experience playing the guitar, and 2 years experience teaching pupils of various levels. I have helped self-taugh students correct their mistakes and bring structure to their practice. I have also taught students up to Grade 4 guitar to great success. I am able to efficiently communicate with students and inspire them to develop their skills.

Besides this, I have mentored students in other subjects, such as maths, or general mentorship at University.

Tutoring Approach:

Lessons will be tailored specifically to each student’s particular interests. This can be anything from learning paticular songs to passing exams, writing music, forming bands, and improve theory knowledge. I have a special interest in writing and recording tracks, and find it a great way to excersice music theory and develop ones ability to play the guitar. Lessons will be fun and educative to each pupils interests.
