Russian born musician and teacher, Mikhail currently lives in UK . He is a proud father of two musical children and his wife is a English composer. Mikhail actively gets involved with the local classical music scene as a professional virtuoso performer. Mikhail has performed alongside Vanessa Mae at the Royal Albert Hall.
Mikhail has 30 years of teaching and performance experience. His experience in teaching ranges from individual to group learning. Currently, Mikhail teaches privately from his home. He is also available for visits should the student prefer home tuition. An additional £5 will be added to the hourly fee to cover travel expenses.
Mikhail's approach to teaching is flexible and very much dependant on individual needs. Attention is given to musical imagery and aural awareness which contribute to expressive playing and musical understanding.
Mikhail is patient and calm in his approach. His good humour and relaxed nature put students at ease. Whether you are studying for exams or personal enjoyment, Mikhail can facilitate appropriate learning and make you feel in touch with the joys of music making, as part of your life style.

As an intermediate mature student returning to my instrument after many years, I have learnt a huge amount in a short time and am very fortunate indeed. I highly recommend Mikhail to anyone.
