Information About Michelle - Dunstable teacher - (4 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Michelle:
At the age of 4 my parents bought me a recorder and arranged for me to have private lessons because I needed something to occupy my mind. When I was a bit older I taught myself to play the piano. I moved on from the recorder to the clarinet again with the tuition of a private tutor. I was privileged to win a Saturday scholarship to Trinity College of Music, London where I attended until I started work at 16. Also during this time I was a member of the Bedfordshire 2nd County Band where I worked my way up from 3rd Clarinet to Lead solo clarinet.
I am currently Musical director of the Dagnall Community Choir.
My teaching experience has generally been with choirs ranging from Children to Adult. I have been involved in this for over 30 years.
I believe that learning should be fun and should achieve set goals. I will work at the students speed and aim to achieve the goals that they have set for themselves. Rewards (chocolate!) for good work are appropriate
