Thanks for visiting my profile page!
I am session bassist who absolutely loves to teach Bass Guitar! Most of my Bass playing is done within the UK Pop, Soul and Gospel Scene.
I've had the opportunity of playing with: Emeli Sande, The Wanted, Labrinth, Jessie J, Jahmene Douglas, SugaBabes, Gloria Gaynor, which I had a lot of fun doing. You can find out more at my website here: **Web Address Removed**
Previously, I attended BRIT Performing Arts and Technology School where I studied Music. Shortly after I continued my training at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (formerly known as The Guitar Institute and Bass Tech), where I underwent formal training for 1 year.
I have been teaching bass guitar privately for approx 5 years. I have also been teaching bass guitar and basic music theory within schools for approx 4 years at both Primary and Secondary school level and work closely with GCSE music students.
Music is fun! Therefore learning should be fun too. Everybody is different, learns differently and has their own personal preferences when it comes to learning different styles of music. And that's exactly the way I like to teach.
There are some fundamental music principles that all students need to learn and some important techniques on the bass guitar that are imperative to growth, development and fluent playing so I do ensure this is taught in lessons but I would like to find out what YOU would like from lessons and tailor each class accordingly.
My teaching location is at the Brownhouse Studio's in **Web Address Removed**
