Personal Description:

My twin passions from a young age have been Music and Languages. Graduated B.A. (Hons) in Modern Languages. Qualified Teacher status since 1985, and still registered, though took early retirement some years ago. I hold the Associate of Victoria College of Music (A.V.C.M.) Diploma (Organ Performance). Music Certificates: Piano Grade 7 (Trinity), Theory Grade 8, Organ Grade 6 (both Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).

Tutoring Experience:

Have been tutoring in Music (piano / keyboard / theory) throughout my teaching career and since taking early retirement. I have taught both piano and keyboard up to Grade 5, as well as Musical Theory, and have entered pupils for exams with both Trinity College and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.

Please note that I only accept pupiles over the age of 18. I tailor my tutoring very closely to your requirements and aim to provide exactly the experience you require, whether as a beginner or intermediate learner. I offer tutoring short, medium or long-term, according to your requirements. I strive to make lessons interesting and engaging, and either relaxed or more intense according to your requirements!
