Personal Description:
Hi. My name is Michael and I offer guitar, bass and ukulele tuition in the comfort of your own home.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 25 years of teaching experience both privately and in schools teaching a variety of musical styles and genres.
Tutoring Approach:
From the first lesson, I will:
1) focus on your favourite artist(s) and what you want to achieve from lessons;
2) find out your current and past musical experience and ability (if any);
3) show you simple chords and songs, helping you to develop your ability.
You will receive:
1) patient and friendly tuition tailored to your specific goals and abilities;
2) development of your ability to play well-known songs tailored to your ability;
3) basic theory (if desired) explained in an easy-to-understand manner.
Above all, I like to make learning fun!

Michael has his own way of writing out chords which is slightly different to most of the sheet music I've seen, so he uses his own copies of music rather than those in publications.
Personally, I didn't quite get what I was looking for from Michael, which was to develop and increase my confidence with my own repertoire of songs which I sing as well as play, but if you're willing to put yourself in his hands to learn guitar his way, he will encourage you to practice and develop in a very enthusiastic manner.
