Personal Description:
I recently graduated from Edinburgh Napier University and have been playing flute since I was 10. I currently study with acclaimed flautist Katherine Bryan and am looking to increase my teaching. During my time at University, with part of it spent in Finland, I took part in many ensembles including performing as a soloist with the University' Orchestra. I also was lucky enough to win The Wind Section Woodwind and Brass Prize associated with Edinburgh Napier University. I am a very friendly tutor and accept all ages and abilities!
Tutoring Experience:
I started teaching at the ripe age of 16 and have really enjoyed it. I am currently the woodwind teacher for Lamphouse Music and have studied teaching technique as part of my course at Napier.
Tutoring Approach:
I create a very warm, friendly atmosphere in lessons but also like to challenge pupils. It can be entirely up to the pupil to choose what to learn. However, I am also there throughout lessons to guide and advise.
