Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching drums for over 15 years now, in many different settings, from one to one tuition, music workshops and classroom.
I love teaching privately either at students homes, but mainly from my own home studio, which has two drum kits, and PA system so i can give very practical drum lessons.
i currently teach drums in Trinity Primary and Secondary schools (Lewisham Borough Schools), which i have been there for 11 years now. also taught at Soho Parish Primary (Westminster Borough Council) for 10 years from 2008-2018, as well as many workshops conducted in Lewisham College/LESOCO.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a very practical approach to playing the Drum Kit, as well as theory, technique and concepts, its very important to apply everything to the drums and withing a musical context, therefore much of my lessons are based on the kit (as well as practise pad), with play along tracks through a PA system.
Patience is an absolute must with an understanding that people have different ways of learning, so a holistic approach to teaching is key for me.
