Personal Description:

I am a classically trained musician, specialising in a Jazz, Pop, Funk, Soul & Classical playing. Recently graduating from The Guildhall School of Music & Drama with a Bachelors degree in Classical Double Bass, studying under Colin Paris.

I have worked with a number of London-based orchestras such as: The Doctors’ Orchestra, The London Lawyers’ Orchestra, St Paul's Knightsbridge Festival Orchestra, The Capital Orchestra, and Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra. Performing at venues such as: The Barbican, Cadogan Hall, Piano Bar Soho, The Royal Albert Hall, De La Warr Pavilion, and many more.
I have had the opportunity to work under conductors such as: Roberto González-Monjas, Baldur Brönnimann, Takuo Yuasa, Jessica Cottis, Thomas Søndergård, James Blair and Jeremy Lubbock . These experiences were what truly ignited my passion for classical music, as well as my passion to spread my knowledge on the double bass.

Currently freelancing as an electric bass player, I have performed on west-end productions such as: Only Fools & Horses, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Recently touring the UK festival scene with indie-pop outfit ‘Artemas’, supporting artists such as: Rex Orange County, Mcfly, Scouting for Girls, East 17 and Thomas Headon.

I am the founder and rhythm guitarist for **Removed By Admin**a traditional manouche-jazz collective based in The City of London. Since a young age, I have had a affinity for the music of Django Reinhardt, enabling me to explore traditional Gypsy jazz guitar technique.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked as an assistant tutor for numerous summer schools with The East Sussex Music Service, tutoring Double bass one-to-one, leading double bass sectionals and coaching small chamber groups.

I am also a freelance music teacher, where I have been teaching both beginners and young adult beginners on double bass, bass guitar, and guitar since the year of 2016. Pupil's goals range from wanting to learn the instrument casually, to wanting to elevate their skills to the next level.
