Personal Description:

I am an accomplished organist and pianist who studied Zoology at The University of Edinburgh. I started the organ aged 12. Whilst studying in Edinburgh, I continued organ under the late Thomas Laing Reilly at St Cuthberts.
I have always had a great interest in the organ ever since I was young and over the years have picked up a real passion for it. In particular baroque and French. I have a relaxed approach to teaching and get genuine enjoyment out of doing so. I am available to teach the complete novice or perhaps a competent pianist who is looking to move on to organ to students who are preparing for exams.

Tutoring Approach:

I able to teach to all levels whether it be a complete novice or perhaps a competent pianist who is looking to move on to organ. I do not take a strict approach when teaching and I am happy to teach on a more casual basis for those who would like to learn the organ for their own pleasure or give more formal lessons to those who may be studying music courses or preparing for school exams
