Personal Description:

Matt Gz is a uk based session guitarist and tutor. 
Through out his career Matt has done a wide variety of work both live and in the studio. He has played pretty much every single genre of popular music over the last decades which has helped him develop great versatility and stylistic awareness in his playing. 
During this period he has also performed live for radio and tv and has played in some of the most prestigious festivals in Europe.
As an artist who likes keeping himself busy, He is currently working alongside former Pallas frontman Alan Reed as well as recording a new solo album. 

Tutoring Experience:

He combines his passion for playing with teaching, activity he has developed both privately and for prestigious institutions such as Santiago de Compostela Uniiversity. 
He has completed his music qualifications in two of the most prestigious music schools in Europe and America (they get enough publicity as it is) and he has been awarded higher education scholarships from the Spanish Artist Association ztwo years running in recognition of his work.
During his formation years he has studied with some of the best tutors in europe as well as attending master classes by players such as Eric Johnson, Shaun Lane, Paul Gilbert, Larry Carlton and Guthrie Govan just to name a few. 

Tutoring Approach:

After almost 20 years teaching students of all ages levels, and backgrounds, Matt has developed a successful method with fast and consistent results. He is currently working on his own guitar method focusing on a holistic approach to the instrument and music in general. His lessons are mainly aimed at keeping the student engaged while making constant progress.
