Personal Description:

* CURRENTLY OFFERING BOTH ONLINE AND IN-PERSON LESSONS I teach piano to people of all ages and abilities, whether you want to learn classical or pop. I'm an ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians) Registered Private Teacher, I have an ABRSM piano Diploma and a music Degree from Leeds University. I have played professionally in restaurants and at weddings around Norfolk which has given me practical experience to be a better teacher.

Tutoring Experience:

I started teaching piano in 2016 and have many students now of all ages. I was also a teacher at Cookes Pianos in Norwich before Covid hit, and now teach solely at home in a converted garage.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to keep the lessons as fun and relaxed as possible for younger students and older students alike, whilst encouraging a need for practise at home. We work through student books, helping you to progress and learn new pieces and scales with a sound technique that will help you greatly when it comes to more difficult pieces. Alongside learning pieces, I like to teach some theory (theory exams can help alongside ABRSM practical examinations, if you are interested in taking Grades). I teach from home not far from central Norwich off Aylsham Road.
