Personal Description:

I have 30 years playing experience and 15 years teaching experience. Passionate about both playing and teaching the fantastic world that is the guitar! I'm a prolific player who is found playing gigs around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. I also write and record my own material. I also encourage and teach song writing and can arrange performance opportunities as or when you feel ready. Whether you just want to learn to play confidently at home or want to become a serious guitarist or take exams, I am confident you will find my approach exactly what you are looking for.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 15 years experience covering all ages (from 5yrs to 75) and abilities.Many of my students (including my eldest son) have gone on to play in front of audiences and perform at gigs boosting their confidence and feelings of self worth.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a laid back and informal approach which allows you to learn at your own pace whilst keeping a basic frame work to your progress. To learn songs and music you really want to play as quickly as possible is the road to success and you will be playing these sooner than you thought possible.
