Personal Description:
I have taught music in schools and privately for 45+ years.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching music for very many years both privately and in schools. I now only teach privately on a one-to-one basis and can teach piano to all levels, Theory to Grade 5, and other instruments (beginners to about grade 3): harp, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, viola) and folk style guitar.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy teaching both children and adults and welcome parents to attend their child's lessons. I am very patient and offer encouragement while gently pushing you along.
I have a Master's degree in Kodaly music education which I incorporate into my lessons where possible.
