Personal Description:

I obtained my Bachelors degree of Music in Trombone Performance from the Granada Royal Conservatory of Music (Spain) in 2008 and a Masters Degree on Symphonic Orchestra Performance from the Gothenburg University School of Music and Drama (Sweden) in 2011, both with the high qualifications.

In addition to the formal training received in these fine centers I have taken courses and private lessons with some of the finest trombonists and brass players in the world, including Dudley Bright (London Symphony), Stefan Schulz (Berlin Philharmonic), Canadian Brass, Denson Paul Pollard (Metropolitan Opera Orchestra) and Joseph Alessi (New York Philharmonic) among many others.

I have ample experience playing in wind and brass bands alongside with different kind of brass chamber ensembles worldwide. I have held positions and collaborated as a substitute and as an extraplayer in many young and professional orchestras in Europe and the USA, including the Swedish National Orchestra Academy, European Union Youth Wind Orchestra, European Union Youth Orchestra, Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville (Spain), Navarra Symphony Orchestra (Spain), Málaga Philarmonic Orchestra(Spain), City of Granada Symphony Orchestra (Spain) and Shen Yun Performing Arts Orchestra (USA). I have performed in festivals such as the Granada International Festival of Music (Spain) and in halls such as the Boston Symphony Center, the Chicago Symphony Center and Carnegie Hall in New York.

Tutoring Experience:

I have fifteen years of teaching experience as a private teacher and in several musical colleges in Spain, where I have been teaching all brass instruments in addition to Solfege and Music Theory to a wide range of students of all levels and ages. I also have experience conducting and coaching different emsembles and students chamber groups.

Tutoring Approach:

I have an individualized approach to every student based on their personal needs. I am a very enthusiastic and pacient teacher, determined to pass on my passion for music to every student and to help them reach all their goals whatever they may be; from trying to pass an entrance examination for a music school or degree, to audition for an orchestra, to improve their playing skills to play in their local band or just to learn music and/or play a brass instrument for fun.
