Personal Description:

I went to the Yehudi Menuhin School at the age of 12 and had lessons with teachers such as Yehudi Menuhin, Igor Ozim and Felix Andriewsky, I lead the National Youth orchestra in 1989 and went to Montreal, Canada to study with Mauricio Fuks, I then returned to London and studied with David Takeno, winning prizes at the guildhall school of music and drama for my solo and chamber music playing, I was then guest leader of the 2nd violins in the BBC Symphony orchestra before joining the Kreutzer Quartet.I have worked with many London Chamber Orchestras and recorded and toured as a soloist.Whilst in Canada I taught regularly at a school and I have taught at summer schools in England and Spain.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught in Mcgill University Canada as an assistant and also in a school near to Montreal.I have taught in Spain on the National Youth Orchestra of Spain Chamber music course and in schools in Surrey more recently.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach very much in a way as encouraging expression, sensitivity and musicianship as primary importance and I also teach technique and rythmic awraeness and interpretive skill so as to compliment the muscianship of the individual
