Information About Luke - Addlestone teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Luke:
I'm Luke and I'm a singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer in Surrey! I have music available on all major platforms and love to play guitar. I've been playing guitar for over 13 years and have studied it at college, with various certificates including guitar performance, and songwriting. I'm easy-going and have a large personality. I'm formidable in a wide range of styles including: Rock, pop, blues, reggae, country & western, funk and soul. (No Heavy Metal I'm afraid folks - sorry!)
I have, in the past taught a wide range of ages. I stopped for a few years to focus mainly on my own music, but now am ready to give back to the musical community and help you to reach your goals. I've taught peers at school, teenagers and young adults, as well as students well in to their 50s and 60s.
Everyone learns differently, and I will strive to find the most effective and simple way of teaching you as possible. I'm a very patient person, with bundles of encouragement and good vibes. I'm a really chilled guy, and it will feel more like your mate coming round to play guitar with you, rather than a tutor. If I need to create after lesson notes for you to refer to, I will to a professional standard (examples can be given once a lesson is booked), but each lesson is like a new page in a book I'm writing especially for you to learn guitar. I will also strive to explain the music theory side, to help you understand everything even more on a more musical level, as opposed to just getting to play something you're learning, I will explain why these specific techniques work.
