Personal Description:
Friendly and experienced professional available for one-to-one tutoring in Drum Kit and/or Percussion.
I have years of professional experience as both a Drummer and Percussionist, performing in the West End musical 'The Lion King', with the Welsh National Opera and in numerous concerts broadcast on Radio 2, Radio 3 and Classical FM in addition to tours of Europe and South America.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been delivering tuition for over 15 years, providing lessons in primary, secondary schools and music centres as well as leading percussion ensembles, samba projects and rock workshops. This has included experience of working with special education needs students.
Tutoring Approach:
All styles are taught from Rock, Pop and Funk through to Classical, Jazz and Latin and are delivered in a professional and enjoyable way. Pupils may also be prepared for graded exams in either Percussion or Drum Kit if they so wish.
