Personal Description:

Hi I'm Luigi, originally from Italy I've lived and played drums in the south of England for 20 years.

My extensive experience covers musical projects in a variety of styles, including rock, funk, folk, jazz, prog, reggae and latin. As well as having plenty of experience performing and recording, I have developed advanced technical skills and a strong background in music theory. My experience as a private tutor goes back to 2003, where I first took on students while playing in local bands. Teaching has ever since been a central part to my activities as a musician.

Passing on my passion and knowledge of the instrument to developing musicians is very important to me. I am fully committed to help learners unlock their potential and become better drummers, musicians, artists. I teach from absolute beginners to advanced level. Any age welcome. Honestly, it's never too late!

Tutoring Approach:

The learning experience will be customised for every student, so that fundamental skills needed to play the drums are taught at the right pace and in an engaging manner. Please contact me for more information on my approach and how it may apply to a potential student.

In any case, lessons will take place in a relaxed and positive environment, in a teaching room equipped with two drum kits and PA speakers. I have at my disposal plenty of high quality teaching material, be it grade books or rudiments etudes, to ensure that lessons are effective and enjoyable for the student.

I offer a free half hour trial so anyone can have a go without pressure to commit to regular lessons.
