Information About Lucy - Bognor Regis teacher
I have recently resumed tutoring the flute privately.
I started playing the flute from the age of 11. I had been learning the piano and recorder from the age of 7.
I studied flute at the Chichester College of Technology with the renowned teacher and performer Robin Soldan.
There I studied Music Theory and also the Bassoon as well as the flute and piano.
I have played in various orchestras and chamber groups over the years. which I love to do.
I have previously taught the flute privately, travelling to the pupils own home.
I offer a free consultation lesson to see if the pupil takes to the flute and also likes to way I teach.
I have taught people of all ages and levels.
I specialise in teaching beginners and children as I love to capture, maintain and then channel that initial enthusiasm.
I love teaching and I teach all of my pupils of whatever age or level on a gradiant approach, ensuring that each stage is fully mastered before embarking on the following stage.
I also ensure that my pupils understand everything that they are learning as they go along so that misunderstood words and symbols or confusions are not laid in.
I emphasize the fun aspect of learning and I believe that if something is not fun then there is something wrong.
Along with that, I encourage those who do want to enter music exams to do so and I coach them along at a pace which is comfortable to them so that they can achieve the results they seek.
I strongly believe that Music and any learning should be fun and that is how I aspire to keep it in their lessons with me.
I believe that with the right tuition anyone can learn anything.
